1. The importance of METI filing in Japan

1) PSE certification is a mandatory safety certification in Japan, which is used to prove that electrical and electronic products have passed the safety standard test of Japan's Electrical and Raw Material Safety Law (DENAN Law) or international IEC standards.

2) Products specified in Japan's DENTORL Act (Electrical Installation and Material Control Act) must pass PSE safety certification to enter the Japanese market. Among them, 116 Class A products should obtain the diamond-shaped PSE mark, and 341 Class B products should obtain the circular PSE mark.

3) The METI filing regulations require that Japanese buyers must register and declare to Japan METI within one month after purchasing goods, and must mark the purchase name or ID on the product for supervision and management in the future product sales process.
